ABONDANCE (ABUNDANCE), Jehan d'. It is thought that this is not his real name, but the pseudonym of the famous French dramatic poet who died in 1550, who often signed himself as MAISTRE TYBURCE, dwelling in the town of PAPETOURTE... He was one of the most renowned men of law in Paris of his time and royal notary of Pont-Saint-Esprit.
He wrote many theatrical works, among which we may cite: *Mystère, moralité et figures de la Passion de Notre-Seigneur Jésus-Christ*; *Le Joyeux Mystère des trois roys*; *Farce nouvelle très bonne, très joyeuse, de la Cornette*, a farce cited among the best of French theatre of that century.
