BONIFACIO dei VITALINI (Bonifatius de Vitalinis, de Vitaliniis, de Vitellinis). — Decretalist of the 14th century, native of Mantua. He was professor of canon law first at Padua, then at Avignon. While serving as Apostolic protonotary, he claimed also to have performed the functions of auditor causarum of the Apostolic Palace (perhaps under Urban V).
