ALESSANDRO DE NEO. — Canonist, born in Vicenza, died in the second half of the 15th century. He was a canon of the cathedral of Treviso and for 26 years professor of canon law at the Studium of Padua.
He wrote: *In I, II, III, et IV libros Decretalium commentaria* (Venice 1586); *Consilia contra Iudaeos foenestantes* (Nuremberg 1479); *Additiones et quaestiones ad Gulielmi Duranti Speculum iuris* (Frankfurt 1668). He edited the *Decretum Gratiani* (Venice 1744). Zaccaria da San Mauro
