ERCHEMPERTO (HERCHEMPERT, ARCHEM-PERT), - Lombard, monk of Monte Cassino; after the destruction of his monastery (885) he lived
- in Capua. He wrote a continuation of the history of the Lombards by Paul the Deacon (*Historia Langobardorum Eneventum degentium ab an. 774 ad an. 889*) and a versified martyrology.
