FEDERICO di Cesi (JOANNES MARTIN SCHELLMORN). — Theologian, b. 6 Nov. 1721 at Munich, d. 6 Oct. 1788 at Augsburg. On 24 May 1741 he made his religious profession among the Discalced Carmelites, taught canon law in the Order’s colleges and later theology and exegesis. He was an excellent preacher. Several times he served as prior and provincial of Bavaria.
He wrote: *Quaestiones sacrae in utilitatem concionatorum explanae* (Augsburg 1774); *Universa theologia moralis tripartita* (ibid. 1780); *Lexicon Scripturisticum* (ibid. 1782); *Lexicon theologicum* (ibid. 1784).
