« IAM MORTE VICTOR OBURTA ». — Hymn of Lauds for the feast of the Holy Rosary, composed by the Dominican Th. A. Ricchini (cf. A. Walz, Compendium historiae Ordinis Praedicatorum [Roma 1948], p. 585) and already inserted into the Dominican Breviary in 1834.
In beautiful and elegant form, it narrates the five glorious mysteries: the Resurrection, the Ascension, the Descent of the Holy Spirit, the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and her crowning as Queen of heaven and earth.
