Letter CDXXXVIII. To the same on the same subject.

I commend to you the cause of the Bishop of Troyes, which his messenger, a man dear to me, has in charge: uphold it, for I believe it to be just. The man himself is a friend of my friends. Pray do not listen to any evil report against this Bishop; but assist his suit, and his messenger, as much as you can.
