ADAMI, ANNIABLE

ADAMI, ANNIBALE. - Jesuit, born in Fermo on 13 February 1626, died in Rome on 16 July 1706 or 1707. A diligent professor of humanities and rhetoric, he left numerous historical works and translations.

Among these: *Seminarii Romani Pallas purpurata* (Rome, 1659), biographies of 31 cardinals who emerged from the Collegio Romano; *La spada d'Orione stellata nel cielo di Marte cioè il valor militare de' più celebri guerrieri de' nostri secoli* (Rome, 1680).
