The Conceptionist Nuns of the Divine Heart (Anchelle Concezioniste del Divin Cuore) — Some pious ladies from the Conference of St Vincent de Paul in Seville were summoned by their spiritual director, who had been appointed bishop of Coria, to engage in works of charity and the education of young women. This marked the beginning, on 26 July 1885, of the new religious institution, which later moved to Málaga and from there to Seville. Other houses were opened in various cities of Spain, and today they number 13 with more than 250 religious. Silverio Mattei
