Giuseppe Jacopo FERRAZZI. — Priest and man of letters, born at Cartigliano (Vicenza) on 20 March 1813, died at Bassano on 3 May 1887. Persecuted by the Austrians and suspended from teaching for his advocacy of Italian identity, he was later able to resume his post through the intervention of the archbishop of Udine.
