The Franciscan Sisters of Our Lady of the Temple were founded in 1858 at Dorat (France) by the priest Rougier (1853–95). They dedicate themselves to the care of sick priests and support their apostolate by making liturgical vestments and sacerdotal garments. The Most Holy Sacrament is exposed daily in their chapels. Today they number 152 religious in 18 houses.
