TEODULFO, priest in CELESIRIA. — He wrote in the time of Emperor Zeno (474–91), according to Gennadius, *De viris ill.*, chap. 91 (Herding), many books, of which only one is known, namely: *De consonantia Veteris et Novi Testamenti*, an anti-heretical work, probably directed either against the Manicheans or the Marcionites.
Two fragments are probably in the *Doctrina Patrum*, pp. 315, 17 ff. ed. Diekamp and p. 111 (cf. *Atti del Concilio Lateranense* [649] in Mansi, X, 1121 C.). The Syriac Church knew, according to Ebediesu, of the same T. an interpretation of the prophet Isaiah in 2 volumes and a treatise on the Psalms of David and the best way to recite them. According to Ebediesu, T. would have been a disciple of Theodore of Mopsuestia; the *Doctrina Patrum* calls him Nestorian. All his works seem to have been lost.
