Adoratrices Perpetual of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

ADORATRICI PERPETUE di S. MARIA DI GUADALUPE. — They arose in Mexico in 1881 through the work of Sister Maddalena dell'Incarnazione, and took their name and rules from the homonymous institution founded in Rome about a century earlier, approved by Pius VII on 22 July 1818 and by Leo XIII on 7 December 1898. Besides Eucharistic worship, the sisters devote themselves to the Christian and civic education and instruction of young women. They have 12 houses with more than 300 religious. Silverio Mattei
