ADORATRICI del PREZIOSISSIMO SANGUE. – Female religious congregation founded at Acuto in 1834 by the ven. Maria De Mattias for the instruction and education of young people in nursery schools and schools of every level. Approved by the Holy See in 1878, it now numbers more than 2,000 sisters in 280 houses.
