CORNA DI CONSACRAZIONE. — In sanctuaries, dwellings, and votive deposits of Minoan Crete, objects composed of two horns joined at the bottom by a horizontal bar have been found. They are often depicted in glyptic art or on vases. They do not appear to have been objects of worship themselves, but rather supported sacred objects or those associated with cultic activities.
