DE EXECRANDIS GENTIUM DIIS. — In 1630 G. M. Suárez published from a 10th-century codex in the Vatican Library a fragment of a Christian apology: De e. g. d., attributing it to Tertullian. The text, which attacks the immorality of Greek myth, is certainly not by Tertullian, but its author and date of composition remain undetermined.
