In the acts of the Synod of Seleucia-Ctesiphon (410; ed. J. B. Chabot, Synodicon orientale, Paris 1902, pp. 17–36, 253–75), the pseudo-Nicene canons later called “Arabic,” and perhaps introduced by M., are attributed to M., though it is not known on what basis, as well as a series of 73 other disciplinary canons that he probably had promulgated in order to extend the discipline of the Antiochenes to Persia.
