The Sisters of the Assumption of Trebisonda. A diocesan congregation of Armenian sisters founded in 1887, dedicated to the education of youth and works of charity. The congregation remained diocesan and in 1914 numbered 22 religious, 4 novices and postulants. Exiled during the war of 1914–18, all were massacred or dispersed. The sole survivor entered another congregation in 1928.
