LUMEN AGENCY. - It was founded in 1935 by the Synodal Commission of the apostolic delegation of China for the purpose of gathering religious news from around the world to pass on to Chinese Catholic newspapers and magazines, and, where possible, also to the non-Christian press. Its bulletins are issued in two editions: one Chinese and the other Latin-Anglo-French.
