AGENZIA LUMEN. – It was founded in 1935 by the Commissione sinodale of the apostolic delegation of China, with the aim of collecting religious news from throughout the world in order to pass it on to Chinese Catholic newspapers and journals and, where possible, also to the non-Christian press. Its communiqués appear in two editions: one in Chinese and the other in Latin, English, and French.
