AZZONE de RAMENCHIS. – Italian canonist of the 14th century, Giovanni d'Andrea (v.); he was certainly a professor at Bologna in 1339; he died around 1346. Two works of canon law by him are known: Repetitiones (falsely attributed to his contemporary, the Roman-law scholar Azzone), and Quaestiones (unpublished).
