DASAM GRANTH. - It is an addition to the Adi Granth, the sacred book of the Sikhs (v.), compiled by Govidh Sing (1657-1701), the tenth and last in the series of their gurus or masters. It is therefore called the book (Granth) of the tenth (Dasam) guru. It collects hymns of the various gurus and also of other masters. It is recognized only by the extremist wing of the Sikhs.
