Franciscans of the Family of Mary

FRANCESCANE DELLA FAMIGLIA DI MARIA. – They were founded in 1856 in Petersburg and approved in Warsaw by Archbishop Sigmondo Felice Felinski. They were aggregated to the Order of Friars Minor Conventual in 1903.

The Congregation, which has its motherhouse in Leopoli, is divided into two provinces with 213 houses and 818 religious sisters, devoted to teaching and the practice of works of charity.
