GIOVANNI di Siviglia (Johannes Hispalensis). — Christian astronomer and mathematician, flourishing in Andalusia in the first half of the 12th century, often confused with Giovanni Ibn Dawud (v.).
In addition to translations of astrological works by Albuomar and Alfergani, he is the author of an *Epitome totius astrologiae* from 1142 and the *Liber alghiorismi de practica arismetrica*.
