IUSTITIA. - Legal journal published by the Unione giuristi cattolici italiani (v.), of which it is the official organ. It began publication in 1948 (editor Francesco Di Piazza), and many of the most distinguished Italian masters of law collaborate with it.
In addition to articles of a general nature, it publishes legal writings on subjects directly connected with the fundamental aspects of ethical life, writings through which examination is directed not only at problems of current law, but also at problems of legislative reform. In the informational section it publishes bibliographic columns (from books and from journals) and various chronicles from the legal world; it also devotes particular attention to parliamentary activity, both by reporting bills in progress and by reproducing the most notable parliamentary acts, and by publishing critical contributions on projects under elaboration.
