IUSTITIA. — A legal journal published by the Unione giuristi cattolici italiani (q.v.), of which it is the official organ. It began publication in 1948 (editor-in-chief Francesco Di Piazza) and has among its contributors many of the most distinguished Italian jurists.
In addition to articles of a general nature, it publishes legal writings on subjects directly connected with the fundamental aspects of ethical life, through which not only current legal problems but also issues of legislative reform are examined. In its informative section, it includes bibliographical columns (from books and journals) and miscellaneous news from the legal world; it also pays particular attention to parliamentary activity, both by reporting on current legislative proposals and by reproducing the most notable parliamentary acts, and by publishing critical contributions on draft legislation under consideration.
