Below: STRIGILATED SARCOPHAGUS WITH TWO REGISTERS (4th cent.) reused for Orazio Albani (1712): I register: healing of the man born blind, resurrection of Lazarus, Christ teaching, the announcement of Peter's denial; II register: capture of Peter and miracle of the spring, assignment of work to Adam and Eve, healing of the paralytic. On the front of the lid: adoration of the Magi, Daniel among the lions, bust of two spouses before the parapetasma - Rome, basilica of S. Sebastiano.
