AGNESE di NORDERA. — Dominican mystic, d. around 1300. At the age of seven she entered the monastery of Adelhausen (v.) near Freiburg. The “Chronicle” of Adelhausen relates that, extremely regular in attending the Divine Office in choir, she experienced daily for years and years, until her death, at the hour of None, the Passion of the Lord, without, however, possessing external signs of the stigmata.
