AGNESE DI NORDERA

AGNES OF NORDERA. - Dominican mystic, d. around 1300. At the age of 7 she entered the monastery of the Most Holy Annunciation of Adelhausen (v.) near Freiburg. The "Chronicle" of Adelhausen relates that, most regular in her attendance at the divine Office in the choir, she experienced daily for years and years until her death, at the hour of none, the passion of the Lord, without however possessing external signs of the stigmata.
