AGNES of Nordera. - Dominican mystic, d. c. 1300. At the age of seven she entered the monastery of the Most Holy Annunciation at Adelhausen (q.v.) near Freiburg. The *Chronicle* of Adelhausen reports that, most regular in her attendance at the divine Office in choir, for years until her death at the hour of nones she experienced the passion of the Lord, though without any external signs of the stigmata.
