AGNES of Bilzheim. – German Dominican mystic who died at the end of the 13th century. She lived as a lay sister in the Dominican convent of Colmar, dedicated to St John the Baptist, known by the epithet Sub Tilia (v. unterlinden).
In the chronicle of the convent written by Sister Catenina of Geberschweier (c. 1300), ch. 44 is devoted to A. Pez calls her Blozheim, Ancellet-Huxtache Bilzheim, near Ruffach. Many charisms of consolation and prophecy marked her obedience, self-denial and care for the sick sisters. She daily contemplated the mysteries of Redemption.
