AGNES OF BILZHEIM. - German Dominican mystic, died at the end of the 13th century. She lived as a conversa in the Dominican monastery of Colmar, dedicated to St. John the Baptist, known under the name Sub Tilia (v. UNTERLINDEN).

In the chronicle of the monastery written by Sister Catherine of Geberschweier (ca. 1300), chapter 44 is devoted to A. Pez calls her of Blozheim, Ancelet-Hustache of Bilzheim, near Ruffach. Many charisms of consolation and prophecy mark her obedience, self-denial and assistance to the sick sisters. She contemplated daily the mysteries of the Redemption. Once she was granted to follow the episodes of the Passion, from Gethsemane to the Cross, and from the sorrow, on 14 Dec. of we know not which year, she expired.
