BAUDRY (BAULDRY), MICHEL. - Liturgist, b. at Evron around 1585, d. in 1660. He worked to complete the Ritual published by Msgr. De Montchal, archbishop of Toulouse, undertaking long and arduous journeys to learn the liturgical uses of the various Churches.

The fruit of his research is the Manuale sacrarum caerimoniarum iuxta ritum sanctae romanae ecclesiae (Paris 1637). The work went through six editions and has served as a guide to all who have treated of the Roman ceremonies.
