BON, MARIA DELL'INCARNAZIONE. – Ursuline at St-Marcellin (Dauphiné), born in 1636, died in 1680. She wrote a treatise on mental prayer, of which many copies were made. It was printed in Italian translation under the title: Stati d'orazione mentale per arrivare in breve tempo a Dio, and was prohibited by the Congregation of the Index on 22 June 1676 because of its pre-Quietist theories.
