ECCLESIASTICAL LITIGATION (IL). — A journal, initially published fortnightly and later monthly, dealing with doctrine and jurisprudence in ecclesiastical matters and charitable institutions. It was founded in Genoa in 1900, under the direction of Prof. Luigi Gallo, by a group of lawyers who were members of the Office of the C. E., which had been established in 1893 by the archbishop of that diocese, Tommaso Reggio, for the defense of the interests of ecclesiastical bodies and charitable institutions and for related consultation. It ceased publication at the end of 1942.
