Philemon of Theraide, Saint

FILEMONE of TERAIDE, saint. – Martyr, died under Diocletian. According to his legendary Passio, F. was a theatrical actor. Having converted to Christianity, he suffered martyrdom at Antinoe together with five others. His feast among the Latins is on 8 March, and at Constantinople on 14 December.
