PHILEMON OF THERAIDE, Saint. - Martyr, died under Diocletian. According to his legendary Passio, P. was a stage actor. Having converted to Christianity, he suffered martyrdom at Antinoe together with five others. His feast among the Latins is on 8 March, at Constantinople on 14 December.
