Pontifical Law of Propaganda Fide

JUS PONTIFICIUM DE PROPAGANDA FIDE. – This is the collection of documents concerning the missions compiled by the Lazarist bishop Raffaele De Martinis (1845–1900).

It is divided into two parts, the first of which contains the pontifical acts and those of the Roman Congregations included therein. The second part collects all the other decrees of Propaganda. Some documents predating the establishment of Propaganda are reproduced at the end or in an appendix. The documents are arranged in chronological order. The first part consists of six volumes, the sixth in two parts, printed during the period 1888–95. The second has a single volume, from 1909. Saverio Paventi
