QUINQUATRUS. - A festival on March 19 in the most ancient Roman calendar. According to calendar data, it was a festival of Mars in which the Salii performed their ritual dances in the Comitium. On the other hand, it was the day of dedication of the Aventine temple of Minerva and the festival of the guilds of artisans.
Q. Minusculae was the name of the festival on June 13, particularly celebrated by the college of tibicines (flute players), to whom a banquet was offered in the Capitoline temple on that day.
