ADAMO WODEHAM (GODHAM, GODDAM). — English Friar Minor, an ardent proponent of the «via moderna» or nominalist school. He taught in Norwich, London, and Oxford and, in the controversy concerning freedom of the will, drew Buridano (v.). He died in 1358.
He composed the still-manuscript Questiones philosophicae et theologicae; but his major work is the Commentary on the Seuteure, printed from 1512 onward in the form of a compendium produced by the nominalist Enrico Totting de Oyta.
