AIMONE (HEIMO). – German historiographer, d. 31 July 1139. He was a canon of S. Giacomo of Bamberg and wrote a Chronographia in the form of annals extending from the creation of the world to the year 1135. The chronicle is published in PL 173, 1363–68.
