ANTONIO da RIMINI. - Franciscan Observant friar, born in Rimini in an unspecified year. He flourished around 1450. He served as vicar of the Umbrian province and is chiefly remembered as a celebrated orator, an imitator of St. Bernardino, and a promoter of regular observance. Wadding writes of him that, after traversing Italy and instructing the principal cities in the word of the Lord, he died in the convent of Monte Luco. He left behind Lenten sermons, panegyrics of saints, and a treatise *De Virginitate*.
