AUDIENTIA SANCTISSIMI. - When a grace, faculty, dispensation, etc., is requested from a Congregation or other dicastery of the Roman Curia, which even the head of the Congregation or dicastery himself has no power to grant, he refers it to the Pope in an audience (usually in an audience of the table: v.
