BETTINI, ELENA. – Foundress of the Institute Daughters of Divine Providence (v.), b. in Rome on 6 Jan. 1814, d. there on 21 Dec. 1894. She devoted her entire life to the advancement of her institute, the education of young people, and assistance to the poor. Her cause of beatification is currently in progress.
