CESTAC, LOUIS-EDOUARD, VENERABILE
CESTAC, Louis-Édouard, Venerable. - Priest, b. at Bayonne on 6 Jan. 1801, d. there on 27 March 1868. He dedicated his whole life to the care of orphans and to the rehabilitation of wayward young women, wonderfully aided by his sister Elisa. He founded two religious congregations: the Bernardines and the Servants of Mary. His cause for beatification was introduced on 8 Apr. 1908.
