DE EXCERANDIS GENTIUM DIIS. — In 1630 G. M. Suárez published from a tenth-century manuscript of the Vatican Library a fragment of a Christian apologetic work: De e. g. d., attributing it to Tertullian. The text, which combats the immorality of Greek myth, is certainly not by Tertullian, but the author and date of composition have not yet been determined.
