FÖRDERER, Albert. – Priest and political figure, b. 13 March 1828 at Rastatt, d. 23 January 1889 at Lahr. Editor of the Anzeiger für Stadt und Land in Lahr, he upheld with dignified firmness the rights of the Catholic Church. Member of the Diet of Baden from 1871 to 1887, he was stabbed to death by a fanatical adversary of the Church.
