JUS. - A quarterly periodical, with the subtitle Rivista di scienze giuridiche pubblicata per cura della Università Cattolica del S. Cuore, founded in Milan in 1940, with the aim of grasping, in the study of the general doctrines of law and of those more general problems which arise in its individual branches, the essential unity of the juridical phenomenon and of its development, and thus being able to bring to light its spiritual value.
The editorial committee was made up of Fr. Agostino Gemelli and Professors Amedeo Giannini, Federico Patetta, Salvatore Riccobono, Santi Romano, Marco Tullio Zanzucchi; the editors were Professors Giorgio Balladore-Pallieri and Orio Giacchi.
It suspended publication after the 1st issue of the third year (1943). In July 1950 the 1st issue of a new series appeared. The scientific editorial committee is composed of Professors Enrico Allorio, Giorgio Balladore-Pallieri and Biondo Biondi.
