SOCIETY FOR FOREIGN MISSIONS OF SCARBORO. — It originated in 1918 in the diocese of Ottawa (U.S.A.) through the efforts of the missionary GIOVANNI MARIA FRASER.
Transferred in 1921 to Scarboro in the diocese of Toronto, it was canonically erected on 29 November 1924. The Constitutions were temporarily approved in 1925 and definitively on 11 June 1940. It is a society without vows, with the purpose of sending its members on mission.
