SOCIETY FOR THE FOREIGN MISSIONS OF QUÉBEC. – It was founded on 2 February 1921 by the episcopate of the province of Québec.
It is a Society without vows whose purpose is to send its members on mission. On 25 July 1920, Propaganda approved its Constitutions for seven years. At the General Chapter of 1948, many modifications were introduced into them, approved by Propaganda on 8 June 1949. It currently numbers 152 priests and has missions in Manchuria, Japan, the Philippine Islands, and Cuba.
