Te Deprecante Corporum

TE DEPRECANTE CORPORUM. - Hymn of Lauds in the Office of the feast of St. John of Kenty, by an unknown author of the 18th century.

The first three stanzas extol the miracles worked by the Saint, whose efficacy was felt principally against the plague, consumption and malignant tumors. Before the final doxology there is a prayer that he may give protection and help to his devotees.
