« TE GESTIENTEM GAUDIIS ». — Hymn of Second Vespers on the feast of the Rosary, composed by the Dominican Fr. Eustachius Sirena in 1825 (cf. A. Walz, Compendium hist. Ordinis Praedic., Rome 1948, p. 586).
It summarizes what has been said of the Virgin in the three hymns of the feast and synthesizes the joyful, sorrowful, and glorious mysteries. It concludes with an invitation to the faithful to weave crowns with the roses of the mysteries.
