BUDGE, sir ERnest Alfred Wallis. - Orientalista inglese, n. a Bodmin (Cornwall) il 27 luglio 1857; m. il 23 nov. 1934. Dal 1893 al 1924 fu conservatore del reparto delle antichità egiziane ed assire nel British Museum. Diresse importanti scavi a Assuan, Gebel Barkal, Ninive e in Mesopotamia.
