ABBA CORNAGLIA, PIETRO

ABBA CORNAGLIA, Pietro. – Musician, born in Alessandria on 20 March 1851, died there on 2 May 1894. Organist and director of the cathedral’s chapel, he composed the cantata Caino ed Abele, theatrical works, and a Requiem Mass. Among his various pamphlets on musical culture, he left a Storia e Filosofia della Musica.
