ADAMO of MONTALDO. - Augustinian, writer, who lived in the second half of the 15th century.
His work *De laudibus familiae de Aura* was published by Muratori in *Rerum Italic. Script.*, XXI, cols. 1171-86. He also wrote numerous biographies, several orations, two treatises on grammar, a poem entitled *Passio Domini nostri Jesu Christi*, in Latin heroic verse, preserved in manuscript in the Biblioteca Paolina in Leipzig, and various other religious poems, some of which were intended to incite war against the Turks.
