ADAMO di MONTALDO. — Augustinian, writer, active in the second half of the 15th century.
His work De laudibus familiae de Aura was published by Muratori in the Rerum Italic. Script., XXI, cols. 1171–86. He also wrote numerous biographies, several orations, two treatises on grammar, a poem entitled Passio Domini nostri Jesu Christi, in Latin heroic verse, preserved in manuscript in the Paolina Library of Leipzig, and various other religious poems, some of them intended to incite war against the Turks.
