ADAMO of CLERMONT. - Chronicler, who lived during the course of the 13th century.
Two works are attributed to him: a still unpublished Chronicon, which narrates the events of the years 1218-70, and the Flores Historiarum, a kind of compendium of the Speculum Historiae by Vincent of Beauvais, which extends up to 1276, that is, the year of the death of Pope Gregory X, to whom the work is dedicated. It has not yet been possible to determine whether these two works are actually distinct or whether one is rather a compendium of the other.
